Kemi – Past and Present

On this bus tour the main subject is how the evolving wood factory industry changed the life in Kemi as well in Lapland. We will hear stories about how lumber was moved to Kemi’s wood factories before railways and trucks. Short visit to Vallitunsaari is included where is possible to arrange a coffee pause with stories from the islands. We will also visit old Kemi Ltd`s main office where Kemi Ltd’s heritage exhibition is displayed as well we are able to see the protected buildings.
